How was using the macro lens? It was fun, but nothing really focused.     Which is your favorite shot and why? The  dead plant because it is the most  focused.     Which shot shows the best use of the rule of thirds. Honestly none of them.     What principles of design are used in your favorite image? Shape.

Part One: Images and Questions About the beach image: Did you use the rule of thirds? Did you emphasis it with sky or land? I did use the rule of thirds. With land. What principles of design did you use and how? Space. I made it look expanded. What time of day was you image taken? Was it a good time to shoot or not why? Daytime. Yes, because then you wouldn't be able to see what the picture is trying to show you. How did you use the foreground/background relationship? I made the foreground bigger. Part Two:  Edge Burn Part Three: Black and White Channel Mixer Lab Color Method  Desaturation Gradient Map Which method produced the best results? They all look the same. Did you achieve a large range of value for each image? Yes. Part Four: Adjustment Layer Adjustment Layer: Non destructive way that can alter the way your photo looks without messing with the pixels.
