I did use the rule of thirds. With land.
  1. What principles of design did you use and how?
Space. I made it look expanded.
  1. What time of day was you image taken? Was it a good time to shoot or not why?
Daytime. Yes, because then you wouldn't be able to see what the picture is trying to show you.
  1. How did you use the foreground/background relationship?
I made the foreground bigger.
